Yassine Ben Hamida, with a Master’s in International Relations from the Geneva Graduate Institute (2006), began his career at the International Telecommunication Union (United Nations) before transitioning to banking. Over a decade, he held senior roles at UBS and Credit Suisse, specializing in wealth management, trading, and financial institutions’ coverage. He later led strategic initiatives in blockchain technology, including launching a regulated Swiss franc-backed stablecoin. Since 2019, at Vontobel, he has driven key projects like digital investment apps, private market offerings, and expansion into Latin America. As of December 1, 2023, he leads Vontobel Geneva, opening a new chapter in his career.
