Prior to joining Aura Blockchain Consortium, Romain dedicated his effort to advising Web3 start-ups on
product launches and on scaling their operations. He also provided advisory services to corporations
interested in venturing into blockchain, NFT and metaverse projects. His past experiences include
founding a digital agency, building e-commerce pure players and advising a number of luxury brands in
the past on their digital strategies.

Romain Carrere has a proven track record of building and scaling businesses, with over 15 years of
diverse and relevant experience as a tech entrepreneur. During that time, he spent time in leadership roles
in five start-ups, with three successful exits, four years in content production, and two years in Investment
Banking.

Romain holds a Master’s degree from ESCP and graduated cum laude with a Bachelor’s degree from
Bentley University. He has actively participated in various delegations, including representing French
entrepreneurs at the G20 delegation in Tokyo.
