Cameron Kates is the Chief Business Officer at Yuga Labs, where he spearheads the ApeChain team, along with his counterpart from the Ape Foundation, Waabam. Before he stepped into a leadership role with ApeChain, Cameron was Yuga’s Chief Legal Officer, where he crystallized the Made By Apes program using decentralized IP.  

Before joining Yuga Labs, Cameron was a corporate attorney at national and international law firms. He took the crypto red pill in 2016, and has represented many leading NFT projects and marketplaces, token marketplaces, DeFi projects, layer-1s and layer-2s, and everything in between
