The iconic Italian luxury sports car manufacturer Automobili Lamborghini will release 4 new "World Tour" themed NFTs on October 24, each of them available for a limited amount of time.
Back in August, Lamborghini launched “The Epic Road Trip” NFT collection, with a campaign to release 4 NFTs in a string of 4 months, available for purchase only 24 hours from the launch. October is the third month of the campaign, with the release of 3 limited-edition NFTs (out of 1963) that cost $196 each, and 1 rare NFT (out of only 63) available at $1,963.
The fact that the number 1963 was used is a nod to Lamborghini’s genesis (the company was founded in May 1963). Each NFT is animated and comes with 30 seconds of audio. Only customers who purchase the base collection NFT series during the Drop 3 phase are eligible for whitelist access for the rare NFT series.
Lamborghini has the following schedule for October 24-27:
- October 24 - Limited Edition 1. A ride through Times Square.
- October 25 - Limited Edition 2. Sakura Dream.
- October 26 - Limited Edition 3. The Emirates Express.
- October 26 - Rare Edition-Home, which shows an Aventador Ultimate Roadster driving into Sant’Agata Bolognese, Lamborghini's headquarters.
The "Lambo" NFTs also have some utility. For example, those who collect all base and rare limited edition NFTs will receive a GLB file, which will allow them in the future to virtualize a Lamborghini car in the Metaverse.
"The Epic Road Trip" drop of this month was brought in collaboration with Web3 Pro (a white-label NFT marketing company), and INVNT.ATOM™ (a brand experience agency).
Popular film and entertainment studio Warner Bros, has offered for sale a limited edition of "The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring" in the form of multimedia NFTs, which is a world premiere.
Warner Bros launched its movie NFTs in partnership with Eluvio (a Web 3 blockchain company), on the WB Movieverse, a new marketplace platform where fans are able to buy, sell or trade their collectibles. By partnering with Eluvio, WB's initiative to turn movies into NFTs was a great success.
Fans of the Warner Bros franchise can enjoy 3 LOTR-themed locations as an interactive navigation menu, namely The Shire, Rivendell, and Mines of Moria.
Those who buy the "Mystery Edition" will receive one of the 3 locations, while owners of the "Epic Edition" will acquire all locations. Mystery Edition has 10,000 copies at $30 (each NFT), and the Epic Edition 999 collectibles at $100 each. Collectors can unlock some interesting features, such as finding AR (augmented reality) treasures.
It seems that we are entering a new era of innovation in movie distribution, with NFTs leading that path by providing more ways for fans to interact with their favorite brand, such as collecting a limited-edition movie in digital form (as an NFT instead of a CD or a classic DVD).
Famous independent brand Franck Dubarry has teamed up with designers to create an NFT collection that consists of 5,000 unique copies.
The announcement was made on October 21 in Geneva, Switzerland, when the company launched a new collection of watches (this time in physical form), called "Deep-Ocean". Franck Dubarry was founded by the French watchmaker with the same name, who was also the founder of the luxury watch brand TechnoMarine.
The "Hipporium" NFT collection will be launched on Hipporium.io on 25 November 2022, and will be found on OpenSea.io later on. Minting will take place on the Ethereum blockchain.
NFT collectors that will own one of the non-fungible tokens will get access to some perks, such as redeeming a random watch at discount, or access to the "Deep-Ocean" physical collection of watches, which is exclusively for Hipporium NFT owners. The discount for claiming a watch goes up to 80%, and depends on the family of NFTs.
There are a total of 10 Hipporium families and each of them has different traits, with different levels of rarity:
1. Maori Tattoo - 20 NFTs, 80% (discount for a watch).
2. Predator Hunter - 50 NFTs, 70%.
3. Yamashita Gold - 110 NFTs, 65%.
4. Desert Planet - 260 NFTs, 60%.
5. Kamakura - 350 NFTs, %55.
6. Psychedelic - 450 NFTs, 50%.
7. Space Traveler - 770 NFTs, %40.
8. Inter Galactic - 990 NFTs, 30%.
9. Flag Earth - 1000 NFTs, 20%.
10. Meta Fusion - NFTs, with a 10% discount for a watch from the "Deep Ocean" collection.
It's great to see a budding use case in NFTs - luxury watches.
NFT brand Deadfellaz announced a collaboration with American fantasy sports company DraftKings, an initiative that will bring 13 professional football players into the NFT world. The drop for the limited-edition football cards is scheduled for October 25, on DraftKings' NFT Marketplace platform.
There are 13 professional football players featured by Deadfellaz in the soon-to-be-launched collection, such as Matthew Stafford, Nick Chubb, Alvin Kamara, Jalen Hurts, Kyler Murray, Deebo Samuel, and more. Deadfellaz is one of the most popular Web3 brands when it comes to pop culture.
In terms of utility, the 13 football cards will be playable in "Reignmakers Football contests", DraftKings' fantasy sports game that allows players to collect NFT player cards, which can be used in various games. Other collector benefits will include access to Deadfellaz' game contests (with more than $1,000,000 in prizes.
Hopefully, this partnership will expose more people in the sports betting space to NFTs.
WonderPals is an NFT brand created in October 2021 by a talented artist named Mina. When WonderPals launched its first NFT collection back in February 2021, all 10,000 copies of the collection sold within minutes, at an impressive price of $224 each or 0.08 ETH per NFT (at that time). According to their official website, the brand is aiming to spread kindness and joy to both the digital and physical worlds.
DeAPlaneta is a company that focuses on the distribution of animated series. Its role in this collaboration is to expand WonderPals NFTs to the Metaverse, in various formats such as comic books, collectibles, or comic strips. Mina's mission is to promote positivity through her art, and community feedback shows that WonderPals is doing a good job so far in that sense.
