What’s New in NFTs?

1. Canon's NFT photography marketplace.

Canon USA has announced the development of Cadabra, a curated photography marketplace for NFTs. The Cadabra marketplace will “empower creators by connecting them to enthusiastic collectors who celebrate the art of photography through a shared appreciation for these digital artworks,” explains Canon.

2. Bored Ape Yacht Club tough week-end.

Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) experienced a major sell-off following a liquidation of 27 BAYCs by a major holder and twitter super-user "franklinisbored". Totaling $2.8 million in ETH and a significant drop in the floor price (now around 54 ETH).

3. Pharrell Williams NF-Tee

‍Pharrell Williams, the well-known musician, producer, and fashion icon has found a new avenue to generate revenue through his luxury streetwear brand, Billionaire Boys Club, which is set to release a limited edition "NF-Tee" - a cotton t-shirt with an NFC chip embedded within the bb3 logo embroidered patch at the hem, making it both physical and digital.

1. Microsoft Dynamics 365 Guides XR tools

‍Microsoft declared the integration of Dynamics 365 Guides XR tools into HoloLens 2, enabling businesses to enhance their operations and training through Mixed Reality (MR).
Dynamics 365 Guides is a cloud-based platform that offers interactive digital instructions to train employees on new procedures or assist in troubleshooting problems.

2. Apple MR headset

‍Apple has dropped Pegatron as a manufacturing partner for their upcoming MR headset and has chosen Luxshare Precision Industry Co. instead, a relatively new player in the MR space with a strong manufacturing track record.
This decision indicates Apple's seriousness about their MR headset, expected to compete with the Meta Quest 2 and launch in 2023.

3. Bytedance catching up with Meta

‍Bytedance invests in VR to catch up with Meta's 500 VR apps in the Meta Quest store, while Meta has funded 300 Quest applications, lowered Meta Quest 2's price, and some developers criticize the App Lab.
