It's official: BAYC is coming to NFT Paris 2023. 

Special guest Greg Solano(a.k.a. Garga) will be speaking at the conference.

Introducing Our Partners: BAYC & Yuga Labs

I'm sure BAYC needs no introduction.

Bored Apes Yacht Club(BAYC) is one of the most recognized NFT collections in the space. With a current market cap of 900K ETH, multiple celebrities holding Bored Apes, and an ecosystem of projects built around them, it's no surprise that BAYC is the face of the NFT space.

So what about Yuga Labs?

Yuga Labs is the home of BAYC, and the founders of the project. Despite being officially formed in 2021, Yuga Labs has raised over 450 Million dollars at a 4 Billion dollar valuation! They have taken BAYC's exclusive club one step further, building an ecosystem around the brand to open avenues for new players to join, while preserving the brand identity of BAYC.

To expand the ecosystem, Yuga Labs built around BAYC. Here are some projects they have rolled out so far:

- Mutant Ape Yacht Club(MAYC) & Bored Ape Kennel Club(BAKC): Supporting NFT collections to BAYC

- ApeCoin: Cryptocurrency with a Market Cap of over 1.5 Billion dollars

- Otherdeed for Otherside: NFT Collection venturing into the Metaverse

But that's not all. Yuga Labs doesn't just build projects; they acquire collections too.

In March 2022, Yuga Labs announced that they had acquired CryptoPunks, the number #1 NFT collection by market cap, and Meebits, from original creators Lava Labs. This not only brought CryptoPunks holders into the BAYC ecosystem, but also established Yuga Labs as the undisputed King of NFT companies.

Truly, we can go on for ages rambling about Yuga Labs' achievements. But let's take a step back, and credit the founders behind this awesome brand.

Unlike BAYC, the projects surrounding it, or even celebrities buying Bored Apes, the founders of BAYC have never really gotten crazy media attention.

But staying anon was no longer an option, when Buzzfeed publicly revealed (or 'doxxed') the founders of BAYC, who now run Yuga Labs. One of them is CryptoGarga, IRL name Greg Solano.

Previously a writer and book critic in the literary space, Greg found his way into crypto in 2017, and soon after was intrigued by the promise of NFTs. Together with Gordon Goner (IRL name Wylie Aronow), and two other co-founders, they founded BAYC - and the rest is history.

How Is BAYC Partnering With NFT Paris?

For a start, CryptoGarga will be coming down in person to give a live sharing at NFT Paris 2023. We're immensely grateful for this opportunity to hear Greg's sharing; and I hope you're excited about it as well!
